Christina Hendricks (born April 15, 1977) is a famous American actor best recognized for her role as Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of the historical drama on AMC's Mad Men. The series earned her critical acclaim and six Emmy award nominations for the top support actress class. The span of her career, which has spanned over two decades includes appearances on the comedy crime drama Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. The actress is well known for her performance as the voice of Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey In Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. She has also been a voice actor in animated films, such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. The first time she worked was as a model and worked in that field for many years prior to making her TV debut in Undressed. The show gave her her first recognizable performance as a character the comedy series Beggars and Choosers. Following that, she was praised for her part in Firefly. Esquire magazine ranked her as the most beautiful woman on the planet in America in 2010, and also voted it the sexiest women in the world.
